Amish Heartland Tour
Our Amish Heartland Tour begins with a guided tour of the Behalt, a 10 ft tall x 265 ft long cyclorama or mural-in-the-round. Behalt illustrates the heritage of the Amish and Mennonite people from their Anabaptist beginnings in Zürich, Switzerland in 1525 to the present day.
After our tour, we will travel down the winding back roads of scenic Berlin and tour an Amish Parochial School.
For lunch, we are invited to feast on a bountiful, traditional meal in an Amish home.
Before we head home, we will board our bus and visit the Swartzentruber Amish who live simply and adhere to a more traditional lifestyle and Amish practices.
Sponsoring Agency: Licking County Community Center
We will leave at 8:30 a.m. from The Licking County Community Center, 3825 Columbus Road Building D, Granville.
